He is survived by his wife, Sandy; his son, Matthew, and daughter-in-law, Lori; son, Andrew, and daughter-in-law, Nicole; stepdaughter, Lisa Barwick, and husband, Scott; stepdaughter, Jennifer Wiegert, and husband, Joel; stepson, Jason Fellows, and wife, Amanda; and stepdaughter, Angela Fellows; grandchildren, Alex and Lindsay Paulus, Tyler, Zachary and Mason Paulus, Samuel and Lauren Barwick, Ethan, Henry and Theo Wiegert, Nicholas and Madeline Fellows; and sister, Bobbi Keiker, Waukesha.
Gene was also preceded in death by his late wife, Martha Fellows Paulus.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 18, 11 a.m., at Christus Lutheran Church, N1915 Julius Road, Greenville, with the Rev. Dave Morton officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 17, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. There will be a visitation at the church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service.
A memorial is being established to further Gene's passion for fishing.

AND THE WINNER IS
This years Big Winnie Fish Club winner is Bobber.
A first time win for Bobber. Other firsts include a Father/Son combo win of the coveted Sack of Hammers.
2 New members were named, Keith is now known as "BOOTS" and Shawn is temporarily known as "Nurse" but the final vote on his name was tabled until next year.
Overall it was another great year on the ice and on the shore.
I am sure that we would all like to thank Hot Pockets for sharing his wonderful scrapbook with us.

Things that I have been hearing
1. There may be a slight menu change. Still having ribs but may have "Kris' Kampfire Stew" instead of the turkey gravy. But it is possible that there will be turkey gravy and biscuits for breakfast.
2. There is rumored to be about 19 "fishermen" attending this year.
Also if anyone has any photos or info that they would like posted to this blog, please send them my way. toddtrue@hotmail.com

Very Interesting
Well, After receiving this photo on my doorstep I think that for once in the history of the big winnie fish club we may have not been to far off when giving a new member a name. It looks like Drinkerbelle is trying to live up to his name. I guess "fish fairy " was way off base. Hopefully that is one name that will never be handed out. I am still waiting for more pics from this years trip. If you want they can be emailed to toddtrue@hotmail.com.
